Join us for a Saturday afternoon of board games at Mollies Bar and Diner - above Sircuit Bar on Saturday December 7th 2024
Games we'll bring along:
In the tabletop department: Werewolf, 5x MTG Commander Decks, Unstable Unicorns, Codenames, Exploding Kittens, Coup, some classics: Uno, Guess Who, Cards, Chess, and more.
Jackbox, Quiplash, Mario Kart, Overcooked up for play on the big screen.
Please bring anything you'd like to play from home! Board games, portable game consoles (Switch, 3DS, etc), are all welcome.
The tables are large with each being able to fit about 6-8 people each. Try not to move the tables too much as it makes delivering food harder.
To our non-cis male gaymers:
Absolutely everyone is welcome. If anyone makes you feel uncomfortable or unwelcome, please let an admin know.
If you're interested in a dedicated Gaymers' "Fems & Thems" Edition, or would know someone who would be interested in helping running it, please reach out to jake@gaymers.org.au. We see new people from all walks of life attend every event and we want to help grow our community .
Food & Drink
The kitchen and bar will be open.
‣ Card accepted
‣ You cannot bring your own food or drink into the venue.
‣ While the event does officially wrap up at 3pm, you're welcome to keep playing on!
Where
It's right on Smith St; hop off at Stop 15 on the 86 tram line, cross the road and it's on your left (https://goo.gl/maps/5Hw3SZKWzNMAuXcN8)
‣ Accessibility Notes: The venue is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible with a staircase entrance. Noise wise, the venue will be opening earlier specifically for us, so it will be a quieter atmosphere in the early afternoon. This isn't a members-only event -- other non-Gaymers may join as the afternoon progresses. After 3pm, the venue will become more noisy.

We've always got an eye out for newcomers, but we'll be wearing rainbow lanyards if you need to find us directly. Please message the MG page or chat to the venue staff if you're stuck.
